Cudos is proud to announce another update, including what the team has been working on this week, and what’s coming in the week coming up!
Progress since last week:
Staking UI:
- Hardhat-Etherscan plugin added to Cudos-token repo for easy verification
- Completed all minor tasks related to Security Audit feedback:
- Contract size-reduction
- Updating Solidity version
- Modifiers added for code reuse
- Library functions
- String literals limited to 32 bytes
- Code readability improvement
- Unnecessary public functions removed
Event indexes improvement - Removed import statements (unused)
- Separate staking and withdrawing on validator main page — This also introduced a fix for removing excess validator stake
- Fix for displaying plus and minus signs only on tablets and mobile devices
- Amended Validator Address to Validator Wallet Address
- Max Button added for entering staking amount
Mainnet:
- Configurations for Genesis block document is ready
- Captcha type has been updated to Checkbox ReCaptcha that allows image verification
- Local wallet management tool has been created
- Gravity bridge progress:
- Working on UI for interaction with the bridge
- Started updating the validator nodes deployment procedure
- Research the flow of funds between Cosmos and Gravity bridge continues — sub-tasks have been included based on current findings
- Rebuilding the TestNet
- Updating Tendermint to https
- Update validator nodes deployment procedure
- Update guides to include bridge information
Tooling:
- Work on the deployment of smart contract command has been resumed
Focus for this week
Staking UI:
- Replace FAQ placeholder texts
- Vested tokens staked in on-chain staking
- Allow Cudo to hardcode new Validator names in UI
- Add a link to Cudos Discord in Help Page
- Test Admin functionality to freeze staking and perform Tendermint native token migration journey
- Group session for transaction bugs — review & fix
- Assessing the results from Extropy’s second audit
- Deploy Staking UI in production using Cudo Ventures CI/CD
Mainnet:
- Research the flow of funds between Cosmos and Gravity bridge — Work on outstanding issues/research questions
- Research Gravity bridge slashing policy
- UI for interacting with the Gravity bridge
Tooling:
- Finalise the deployment of smart contracts command
- Initiate work on Testing framework
- Port CosmWasm Rust contract implementation to AssemblyScript
- To start with researching the interoperability between the Rust Wasm host and AssemblyScript Wasm code
Needless to say, our top priority is making sure we release the Staking UI successfully.
